It was warm outside this day, something we Melburnians are not used to just yet, having been spoiled by a rather wet Winter and early Spring … 32 degrees felt like a heatwave! The coolness of St.Paul’s was momentary but welcome respite …

Capturing people being people, and the finer details of four and two wheeled blingy classic automotives – two fave ‘topics’ of imagery :-))

Oh this is just right love the light on the altar and it touching the people head. Lovely feel to this and again wonderful in B&W. I really do love the tones you create in your imagegs, you are a inspiration for me to keep looking at B&W and working on it with my own B&W. : )

  • Thank you so much Karen, what a lovely comment :-)
Glad to be able to inspire someone else to keep striving and working at their b/w’s :-))
I love b/w images because, they really define all and any detail without the ‘distraction’ of colour … mind you, of course there are some images that just have to be taken in colour for maximum impact!! :-))

    terrific

I’m not a church goer, but the light in St.Paul’s is just beautiful … first time I stepped inside about three months ago (??) was there for more than an hour, just ‘lost’ in the peace and quiet and calming light, absorbed in the big-ness of it all, and gawking at the gorgeous architecture and windows … St.Pauls, like many other grande churches, is a special place for many reasons … :-)

This was my 3rd visit … and I just know there will be more – I’ve seen something different every visit so far :-)
