Huh? What did I miss ...? by Ell-on-Wheels

The dog was not alone, it’s mistress was sitting just out of shot – that’s her black-clad foot that can be just seen poking out from the brickwork … just before taking these images, I’d been spotted and she shrunk backwards into the shadowy alcove … was more interested in the dog in it’s ‘dryzabone’ jacket anyway ;-)

Taken during a photowalk with the fabulous GH
Hosier Lane, Melbourne

Canon 50D, 50-250
Available light (mid afternoon early-Spring day)
Straight from camera, no post-ed

Capturing people being people, and the finer details of four and two wheeled blingy classic automotives – two fave ‘topics’ of imagery :-))

Well seen and capture Ell ~ that’s some jacket .. looks cosy!

  • Thank you Susie :-)
The jacket would have been an expensive purchase for the owner – “Dryzabone” oilskin jackets for humans are hundreds of dollars here … that little jacket could easily have been $100 plus as well … special dog :-)

Cool doggie…All he needs is an Akubra hat and a couple of pairs of RM Williams boots to complete the look. :))…Nice one Ell.!!

  • Hehee, I’d like to see that!! ;-) … thanks Meg :-)

Ha great title, and what a lovely dog he seemed. Very glad he has his snug coat, must be tough out there. Well shot Ell.

Funny how different people can get view things so completely differently depending on their life experiences…My immediate reaction here was, “I wouldn’t want to mess with THAT dog!”…then I read the above comments and had a good laugh at myself. Anyway, its a super cool shot!!!

  • Thank you Maggie :-)
I don’t like to ‘mess’ with other people’s dogs either, so I always ask the owner first if it’s Ok to pat … I’m sure this Blue Heeler would have been Ok to approach, but not all of them are placid as they’re bred to be working cattle dogs and have a tendancy to nip as such … though I doubt this pampered Heeler has ever seen a cow! ;-)
