Gent with iPod earphones in, catching a bit of Winter sunshine … St.Kilda Marina, Melbourne

Image rather over-exposed I know, though rather liked the ‘ghostly tungsten’ effect after more than a little bit of tweaking with contrast and brightness

Canon 50D, 50mm f1.8
Available light (sunny Winter’s mid afternoon)

boat, harbour, jetty, marina, melbourne, people, port, sea, seaside, water

Capturing people being people, and the finer details of four and two wheeled blingy classic automotives – two fave ‘topics’ of imagery :-))

    Interesting. This is quite striking.
I was playing with some ‘inverted’ images in Photoshop yesterday. They looked rather spooky.

  • Glad you think so Gary, thank you :-)
Looking fwd to seeing some spooky inverted image/s from you then :-)

Love this feel! Sometimes even “natural” needs a bit of a shove… ;)

  • Ahhh, in this case yes, and so glad you do :)
Was still learning the about all the knobs and dials on the recently aquired Canon, when I took this … liked the comp enough not to ditch the image, so had a bit of a play with basic editting tools that came with the Canon … managed to save it, a little :-)
