I pass by a particular garage every working day en route, that has several Jaguars parked out front … one day very recently, the Winter sun was shining on at least five exquisite classic Jags, as well as this gorgeous metalic sky-blue old Daimler! I did several double takes, while trying to also not run into the back of another vehicle!!

Capturing people being people, and the finer details of four and two wheeled blingy classic automotives – two fave ‘topics’ of imagery :-))

Daimler or Jag which to choose, I came very close to buying a Jag recently, but settled for something far more mundane. This is great stuff El.

  • Thank you very much Gary :-) You know me, anything that’s shiney and old :-D Have more images of this grande girl, but there just aren’t enough hours in the day!! ;-) … will upload as supporting gallery images when I get a tic … which car did you get?? :-)

You’re a chrome gnome Ell. Lovely to look at eh? Chrome works so well in B+W and you have maximized the reflections and beauty of the curves. Why are modern cars (apart from those obvious Italian ones) so boring to photograph?

  • LOL! “chrome gnome”!! ;-) Thank you Rhou, best compliment ever! :-D Like a moth to a flame, I’m such a sucker for cars like this!
You already know the answer to your Q :-) … todays cars are photographically boring because, they don’t have enuf (if any!) CHROME! :-D
