On the return bus trip from Lapland back down to Helsinki we stopped at a place to get some food and drink. Right next door to this place however, was a large herd of reindeer!
I ran into the store like a crazed woman to buy some bread to feed them it in hope they might like me, and charged out of the shop and across the snowy fields to get some photos and perhaps touch one!

Sadly this was seriously disappointing. The reindeer would not let you get closer than 10 metres before they bolted. I even held out bread for them! I threw bread at them! They just stared at it on the snow, sniffed it, and then walked away.

Overall impression of reindeer, not entirely high.
