Old fashioned kettle shadowed by red light. Maybe I need to soften the background? I found it at a restaurant displaying old farmhouse memorabilia lit by coloured lights.
Stunning! And, very attractive in the sense that it draws the viewer in. I think it’s the effect of bold red and black merging in the upper right corner – very interesting effect.
Thank you very much for your comments on each one of the series Richard. It was very kind of you to take such a good look. I’m doing quite a bit of experimentation these days. You started my day with a good vibe!

Thanks Marguerite. Have gone to town on this with a few more versions as I just love the shape.

Oh no the background is perfect! Such a bold striking contrast of light, shadow and shape!
Thanks Joanne. I’ve done another version anyway because I followed a different pathway in Photoshop.

Striking image, I think the strong red complements the heavy shadow.
Thank you very much Paul. I just thought the red might look a bit too messy!
