My current project is to take photos for greeting and post cards to sell at our local market and maybe in local shops. I find landscapes etc quite challenging! I’ve moved away from my abstract style though not forever as I discovered an engineering yard full of rusty pipes etc so I’ll have to see if I can get access to it.
And all the while I’m thoroughly enjoying my drawing and painting classes: the way a work evolves, the long process with various stages and layers, learning about colour, papers and brushes as well as studying art history are all things that I’m learning with joy. It’s so different from taking photos. I suppose different areas of the brain are involved.
