This is very dynamic, Elizabeth. I see beautiful tree beside a tunnel that leads to…what seems like nowhere, but then there is a home, and some architectural elements; and a branch reaching out, ghost-like, to grab the scene and maybe rearrange it. It really begs to be studied the way fascinating abstracts do!
WOW! Wonderful framing and symmetry of motion all guiding my eye to The Way. It’s also pleasing, and comforting, at first glance and becomes more and more complex the longer I gaze – so easy to slip into this scene Elizabeth and a wonderful journey.
Gosh Richard, I know you would have loved the scene of the tree against the water on Whidbey Island. It just jumped out at me. I loved how it looked but not the best shot on it’s own. I am so glad that I searched for that one extra image for this piece. With out it I don’t know if it would have worked. There are 8 images here….maybe more or at least repeats of one. The first was a close up shot of the letters on the Embarcadero sign in San Francisco. I love that sign. Thanks for stopping and adding your comment. I was thinking of you yesterday and the day before as I was in Gold Canyon….near Globe, AZ. It was so beautiful. A friend of mine has a house that backs up to the mountain and WHAT A VIEW!! I have some shots….haven’t looked just yet. Hope I got a few that will work. I didn’t have a lot of time. Anyway….thanks again!!
