Emotional Conversation by

Well, I would love to do a writing to go with this. I know what it is in my heart. I just know that there are those days when we finally let it all pour out. A nice transition from sharing to letting it all go in an emotional conversation.
These side images are works in progress done for SoJie 12.
The image Sharing
By Joanne Bradley was posted in the SoJie 12 workshop and Joanne so graciously accepted my proposal to translate.

*BE SURE TO STOP IN AND SEE ALL OF THE WORKS IN PROGRESS, HERE

I love the soft layers of leaves and the quiet I feel when I view Joane’s image. My version started out soft, but with a lively palette…….as I worked on the layers of texture the water started to pour and I liked the feeling of an edge rather than a reflective scene. I will hopefully add more detail to the process in a Journal to come.
Thank you for viewing “Emotional Conversation”

  • Thanks Maggie…….it was a fun roller coaster of a ride to do this piece. I like it in person more than on line, so I may have to tweak it a bit more. But this is the jist of what the final will be. So nice to get your wonderful comment. YES Joanne’s original is so beautiful. I was so glad to see it posted.

    Bravo, Ms. Bravo!
Unlike the still waters of Joanne’ piece, you have the emotions about to tip the conversation off a cliff. Wow. One wants to rescue this relationship before it is too late.

  • Thanks so much Margot, I did toy with the idea of having one chair already down the fall of water……..but I like it better to imagine that it could go that way. Thanks for the comment:)))

What a fun piece, Elizabeth! Love the transitions and would not have guessed them in a million years. The moonlight is so tempting here and flirtatious, over the chairs, down on the path, and into the water.

I really love what you did with this Elizabeth! It is surreal and emotional all in one. I can understand why you would want to do a writing for this. :o)

  • Thank you so much Bunny, this was a fun process, but gosh it is crazy to have to finish in a certain amount of time. Glad you like it.
