I love it, Elizabeth. I can see where you honed in on the guitar a bit more. I love the beautiful wood and the shine on the side of it. That is so perfect.

Your palette is gorgeous. He is in the mood, one with his guitar. Love how you’ve shown the light, dancing as it is!

A piece to always be proud of Elizabeth. Gorgeous! Congratulations!

  • I am very proud of this piece…….and I really almost chickened out of doing it. So glad that I didn’t…..what a fun process. Thanks Frannie. Can’t wait for the show now and to do the other……It is still so great watching all the others starting to come in.

I agree with Fran, I love the light focused on the guitar and his arms and fingers. I also like the colors you’ve chosen. The reddish tones on his arms blending into the face of the guitar highlight their vibrational union, or harmony, in expression. Wonderful artwork, and I like seeing this painting and the photograph side by side.

  • Thanks Richard……What fun it was to do this piece. I loved it. I love how the colors came out…..very much what I love…..that pink on the guitar does have a nice warmth to it. Thanks so much for the support and awesome comment!!

This is just marvelous,Elizabeth. I’m going to send the team of WOWS right back to you. Your color work is out of this world. Congratulations on a job well done. Sally

  • Sally, what an awesome comment coming from you. I loved doing this piece and what fun it is to watch all of the pieces come to life. I had a bit of trouble with a few things, but I was very worried that I wouldn’t get the hands right and I love how they turned out. I let it be loose and I think that is what helped me….not worrying that it was exact. THANKS SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY!!
