My first impression of Paris was that it is so much bigger than I thought it would be. We wandered the streets for hours only taking time out to have a cafe ole or a shanty, with a bite to eat, yet we really didn’t come close to seeing what the city had to offer. But I have to say that the atmosphere was more than enough to keep us smiling. The aged buildings made me want to go down every street to see yet another row with a different kind of shutter. And although I knew that Paris was known for it’s cafe’s, I had no idea there would be one or more on every single street. At least it seemed that way to me. Much like my beloved Seattle, the street music was loud and clear as we walked in the main areas.
And as you can see we even had a little dance. Well at least Varry did.
I hope you enjoy my blend of images from “Two days in Paris, Part One”

I am inspired by everything in life.
Nature, landscape, city life and more.
Over 25 years as a flight attendant has let me see life from every angle. On the road my camera and Mac are my constant companions. At home, it’s hard to find me with out a paint brush in hand.
No matter what, as long as I am creating I am content.
Thanks for viewing my work!!

Varry dancing in the street is too cute and just as I imagine her bubbly personality. Oh how I love the violinist, playing in the street with his casual cap, and the beautiful architecture overlaying it all.

This is a gorgeous montage, Elizabeth.

  • I was so glad to have captured that image of Varry, it really does say it all!! She was too cute for words…we all had such a great time together, I know we could have had a month and not gotten tired of the conversation!! And I know you would have fit right in Frannie……But you were there in spirit and we were thinking of you!!

Oh I love this collage! What a great way to get the taste of your Paris experience!

  • Joanne……it was positively glorious just wondering around and looking everywhere. We were like collage girls all out on the town giggling and pointing……talking under our breath about the things that we were a bit shocked by…….our hearts were as full as they could be with the fun of it all!!
Thanks so much for your wonderful comment:))))

Beautiful montage…..you have represented Paris beautifully….can feel the joy with Varry and her dancing!! Wonderful….this makes me smile today.

  • Hi Wendi,
We had so much fun…….I really need to do a journal about all of it, while it is still fresh. I only wish we had all danced and had someone take all of our picture. But it was so fun to watch Varry. She kept us smiling completely!!

wow! thats crazy aunt biz! in the absolute best sense :]

  • Kate, how wonderful to get a comment from you. I thought of you a lot while I was in Paris, wishing you could have been along like we had talked about doing. I hope that someday we can go there together. I know I want to go again and take so many photos.
If we had taken that first trip, just you and I like I had talked about……I know it would have been fine, but now I am much more confident in knowing how to get around and what to do.
I actually took the metro and the train to get to the airport and lived to tell about it, lol.
This trip came about because I was visiting with a friend that I got to know here on Redbubble. Someone so special…..I know we will always be friends and someday when I see you I will tell you more about that. Thanks for taking a look Kate:))) Love you, say hi to your mom and dad and everyone else.
    Biz, xxxxoooo

beautiful work and a great idea showing a lot of images as one.

  • Thanks Declan again for stopping…….I love showing images this way. I am not the best photographer in the sense of taking a single shot, but learning to do this has opened my mind and offered a different way to show what I feel in my heart at seeing a city like this.
It was such fun…..thanks again for your comment.
