My first impression of Paris was that it is so much bigger than I thought it would be. We wandered the streets for hours only taking time out to have a cafe ole or a shanty, with a bite to eat, yet we really didn’t come close to seeing what the city had to offer. But I have to say that the atmosphere was more than enough to keep us smiling. The aged buildings made me want to go down every street to see yet another row with a different kind of shutter. And although I knew that Paris was known for it’s cafe’s, I had no idea there would be one or more on every single street. At least it seemed that way to me. Much like my beloved Seattle, the street music was loud and clear as we walked in the main areas.
And as you can see we even had a little dance. Well at least Varry did.
I hope you enjoy my blend of images from “Two days in Paris, Part One”
