I wander down city streets all over the US as often as I can. But being there at twilight is unusual for me. I am always excited to see the light winding it’s way through the buildings. The warmth bounces off of the windows and hard surfaces of the high rise buildings. It’s a magical time of day.
This is two different views of San Francisco at Dusk blended with several different textural images.
The tree in the distance between the two buildings caught my eye. As I turned to the left, I had a view of that awesome green building right in front of the Trans America building. The cars coming up the street already had their lights on as the sun was lost in the shadows.
I hope you enjoy my view

I am inspired by everything in life.
Nature, landscape, city life and more.
Over 25 years as a flight attendant has let me see life from every angle. On the road my camera and Mac are my constant companions. At home, it’s hard to find me with out a paint brush in hand.
No matter what, as long as I am creating I am content.
Thanks for viewing my work!!

This is one of the most beautiful and true depictions of “The City” that I have ever seen, and I know it well! I’m so glad you included the tree… Marvelous work!

  • Thanks so much Margot, I just love the views of San Francisco. I wish I had more time to go and wander, I live about two hours away, but get there on my overnights as a flight attendant…….It’s such an awesome city. That tree was my favorite and I just couldn’t figure out what to do with the image. This really worked just the way I had envisioned it.
Thanks so much for such a lovely comment!!

And the tree is there….partaking and mastering the panorama.
This would not be the same without it.
The tree is promising us Life…
outside from concrete, steel and glass…
    outside from the imprisoned sun,
outside from the stuffed sense of perspective..
my eyes submmited to this dense transparency.
And then the magic is in the soul,
overcoming the terror of alineation…little boxes…litle boxes.
The Tree is yourself…growing to root…
    in the invisible.
Rosa (I love it, you are the ONE for bringing magic from Urban Shores…the only one.a hug!)

  • Rosa…..your poetry in commenting always amazes me. I love looking at works of art through your eyes…….you have such wonderful insight. I do think that I am or WE ARE the tree in the middle of it all. Holding it all together with out knowing……..now I do. Thank you for your wonderful words dear Rosa!!
    I so appreciate it!!
