The endless patterns created by windows in the city captivates me. It’s like seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time, so hard to believe your eyes, if you have never seen it before. The shear size of a city like New York is just incredible. This is a blend of about 10 images. Four are different views of New York and the others are all working to create texture, color and energy. I’m starting to learn that images sitting in the shadows need to stay there. I may need them for something like “Behind Every Window” I hope you enjoy my view!!

I am inspired by everything in life.
Nature, landscape, city life and more.
Over 25 years as a flight attendant has let me see life from every angle. On the road my camera and Mac are my constant companions. At home, it’s hard to find me with out a paint brush in hand.
No matter what, as long as I am creating I am content.
Thanks for viewing my work!!

Elizabeth this is exciting to look at. I have a similar fascination with city architecture. We can see, here, in your image, how it evokes endless patterns, forming a kind of puzzle tapestry. I love how you’ve added the red, or maybe brought it out. Is that you over there, mid way down, but far right? The water tower is surprising and a nice contrast to the buildings – something you don’t expect to see with fancy high rises. :)

  • Thanks Fran, I am so happy with this. I had an abstract that I was working on and treading the red in and out, I liked how it started to look a little like a city scape, so I added the city in to work back and forth with the abstract. I really had fun and it was very much like a puzzle.

I love to see your visions. this one is so exciting. it is very organic. a quality you so master it seems. and I adore the wires I see on the top right ever so slightly there. and the amazing feel of a sort of country air . with the addition of the water tower with thse pictures of newyork highrises. adds such a warm feeling over what most think of as only hustle abustle. great work. really beautiful

the fact that this is new york. brings it to full life for me. and i could swear I see a window washer. smack in the bottom middle. dad was a window washer. so you could see my affinity for this in so many levels

  • It’s so funny that you caught that bit of wire…..I wanted to add more wires and maybe will in the future. But I didn’t have anything that seemed to fit what I was looking for. I love that you see a window washer……I see them every now and then and I have taken photos, but I guess I didn’t like them, cuz they are gone. Oh well…….I will keep watching for more. That would have made a great addition!!
    THANK YOU ISA:)))))))xxxooo

Oh my, I have some window washer photos, somewhere, you want them to use them? That would be fun. Now that Isa has said this, I’m going to look and will forward to you.

  • That would be great Fran……I am always game to add more detail, I love the hidden gems like that. The images that I had were from below and wouldn’t have worked anyway, will watch for an e-mail if you find them……thanks

Your conversation is so mysterious for me. I see a beautiful mainly green colored skyline with this sunshine braking in and mysterious red parts that seem so abstract. It’s beautiful and the atmosphere is soft even that the red has something strong coming in. But your conversation is chinese for me – wow, a lot to discover for me
    Beautiful art
