Sacramento Airport is growing. The big build, started less than a year ago and is already quite impressive. I wish I had taken photos before this stage, but dragging my camera out is always quite a task at the end of a long trip.
This photo was taken when I went to pick up my husband coming in from Seattle. A gray day created a lazy morning mood with this silhouette of the new structure. With a shift of the lens, I captured the men at work on the mid section and a blur of lights from deep within. I love how these three images blended creating a feeling of work in progress. I hope you enjoy viewing “The Big Build” Sacramento International Airport.

Wonderful image, reminds me of one of my first paintings of a boyfriend working on scaffolding at a Nuclear Power Plant. The silhouette works great, and your red is breathtaking, Elizabeth.
