Anchorage, Alaska October, 2009An image taken from my hotel window allowed me to work with layers of grass and the Orton affect. I lost the clutter of the buildings and brought the focal point where it belongs, “The great outdoors!”

really pretty, Elizabeth! What a fantastic view…
Thanks Maureen….I am having so much fun finding ways to use an image that I might not like in general on it’s own. The color was dull and the buildings really took away from the view. But this was fun…..I really wanted to find a home for the grasses.
Very nicely done Elizabeth.
Thanks Jim:))) I appreciate it!!
Thank you Gary!!
very lovely, Elizabeth
Thanks so much Solomon:))))
Pretty Elizabeth. I love the soft green tones :)
Hey Karen, thank you so much…..nice to see you!! How are things with you?? I have been having lots of fun with layers as you can see!!
I have been fairly quiet of late (on RB) just keeping head down and concentrating on other things. Starting to get back in to it (I really miss my creative outlet and feel it’s pull LOL). Lovely to see your ‘playing’ with layers, it’s all good!K xxx
Gorgeous panoramic view, Elizabeth!
Thank you Fran!!
Wonderful artwork Elizabeth! I like the way it’s all being green brings out the textures.
Thanks Richard….I love Alaska…..but I never get the time to really go out and take photos…..this was just from my window….but then I remember many photos from your windows…..awesome photos!! lol…..I guess you do what you can!!
Thanks so much:))))
