Looking for love in all the empty spaces by

All photos used are my own stock.
Digital work done in Photoshop elements

Seattle meets Paris. I always love to look at the empty spaces. This shot of the red windows I have captured many times. I love to see what could be there, what might have been there. The light filtering was fun and playful. The man was brought all the way from Paris just for this merge. If he can’t find love there, where can he find it. Probably not in all the empty spaces. Thanks for stopping by to view my work!!

He look lost, light leading to no where, steps into more space, window after window, door after door; yet to him, they seem closed. That’s my read. Great to see new work, and in a bit different direction too, Elizabeth!

  • It is so fun to get these out finally….I have a lot to post….finish polish……just need to get back up on the horse and get going. My trip is going to be good for that. Long layovers. Thanks Frannie….always love to hear what you see!

Such an evocative piece; love the contrast between the man in dark shadows and that red window that will potentially be his destination.

Ah, one must first fill the emptiness inside. Wonderful artwork Elizabeth. I admire your ability to create such depth in your layered work, (Mine always seems flat) and you’ve captured the empty space perfectly on both the inner and outer realms. The hard lines and angles also allude to our overuse of analysis and science in these journeys of the soul.
