Tribute to Mary Travers
Today I wanted to do a special tribute…and since .I love finding images to put together for the home page suggestions, I thought this was a great way to do it. All of these images worked perfectly to help me remember this wonderful singer. And there were so many others that were also wonderful and found their way to my pages of favorites…..but these seemed to work the best.
I write this with a lump in my throat and a realization that things they are a changin. I am so very sad to say good by to Mary Travers.
I grew up with Peter, Paul and Mary…...and I can’t imagine never seeing them all together again. She will be missed.
This awesome group shaped many of my convictions and beliefs…..the words of each song are powerful and soft and heart felt…...all so full of emotion.

All songs that were often sung around a camp fire or just jamming in our family home. I don’t have a link for Lemon Tree, but I adore this trio and will miss there shining star….This tribute is for Mary Travers…...RIP

I love her….and the same his parterns.
I have followed her carrier, and always loved her image, sweet, strong and committed behaviour.
Thanks for letting us remember… what is mattering. Discretion is and was her life, and valuable for our society and spiritual growth…art and values…they are a source of food for our lives.

Thank you Rosa…...for you wonderful comment. Mary really was a strong woman, all of the group cared very much about the messages they were sending to the world. They were all about finding peace and kindness and letting go of cruelty. I’m so glad you saw this, your comment means a lot to me.

Sad that Groups like The Mamas and Papas these 3 beautiful people and all from that era is coming to being just a Memory…...................x
