It’s a windy day, and nice for sitting on the couch and finding images.
I use these colors a lot in my work, so it is no wonder that I was drawn to them!!

I did need a few days to think and let it sink in…...but I knew I needed to put out a tribute to Mary, of Peter, Paul and Mary.
My page today…....has left me with a lump in my throat…...as I am so very sad to say good by to Mary Travers.
I grew up with Peter, Paul and Mary…...and I can’t imagine never seeing them all together again. She will be missed.
This awesome group shaped many of my convictions and beliefs…..the words are powerful and soft and heart felt…...all so full of emotion.

This is a whole lot of nothing…....that really looks like something. I love all the patterns.

We all talked of the road trip. Where we would meet and what we would bring along…...I felt as if we really did it…will all of our discussions….I can tell you one thing for sure…..if we would have gone, there would have been some awesome photos to show for it.

I thought of Hot air balloons, but that had already been done on the home page, so my idea was under a kite.

“New York, New York”
The Ground Zero image needed to be included…...as a flight attendant, that day was a little more life changing than it may have been for others. Many of my co-workers were stuck in New York and could see the towers from their hotel….others were in D.C. and actually saw the explosion of the the plane going into the pentagon. People were running and shoving…..I can’t imagine what that was like…..I was flying on my way to Phoenix and we were diverted to Omaha. I spent two and a half days there….not long in comparison to others…..it was a day I will never forget.

As the nightmare of a delayed flight out of Philadelphia turned into two and a half hours I realized I wouldn’t make it home.
So I sat and looked at images…......This sweet image of red shoes made me realize that I had the power all along….all I had to do was click my heals together and repeat…................

I can tell you now as I sit on my very own couch that this is TRUE!! There is no place like home!!


This was a favorite of mine…..and so happy it made the HP!!! Congrats to all the wonderful artists featured!!
