Layers of Seattle
My new found love in photography is mixing layers and layers of images. I have already had some wonderful finds of layered work in reflections but this kind of editing brings it to a whole other level. Finding what works well with another image is a challenge. But one that I enjoy very much. I have learned the in’s and out’s of working with layers by trial and error. If you’re thinking of giving this a try, I hope you will give your self time and not worry about the failures. The result is so worth the frustration of figuring it all out!!
WOW, THANK YOU FOR THE HOME PAGE FEATURE!!!

Very nice, E! Good work.
Elizabeth Bravo replied
Thanks so much Tama:)))))xxoo I almost made it your way for a very long SFO layover this week. But I had to change out my trip. Long story. I really did want to keep it, but sometimes it just goes that way. Maybe I will have to take a drive one of these days.

I love your style Elizabeth…....You seem to carry off a sense of Art Deco and Vogue style …Truly Lovely ArtWork…....x
Elizabeth Bravo replied
Awwww, thank Doreen…....I don’t really try for that, but I would agree that it does have an art deco feel to it. A past life I guess!! Oooooo and Vogue, you sweet talker you!!xxoo

hey, this is really good. Keep it up, I’m just still trying to figure out where to go to find the textures in order to play like this
Elizabeth Bravo replied
Thanks so much, I can help if you would like a few to play around with. Textures I mean. I would think there are sources on line, but I don’t know where. Someone suggested that I take photos of cement and wood…..so I started with that. If you tone them down a bit it works well. Also change up the color for your over tones. I also added a shot of bits of paper stapled to a telephone post. It’s VERY COOL!! Just go and take photos of anything with texture. The smaller the better. I used a shot of the rust on my fire pit for one as well. Most of my texture here is coming from an acrylic screen on an overpass in Seattle. I took that from all different angles because it had that shine as if all of was a reflection in the glass. Maybe to much info…....but I think you should go for it!! Please b-mail if you would like some help!! THANKS AGAIN FOR THE WONDERFUL COMMENT!!
