Question for All who RedBubble?? by ElitePhotoArt

Posted on January 17, 2008

Actually two questions.

How many images of the same series of images would you think is appropriate to upload at one time to RedBubble? Example, I have approximately 12 images from the most recent series with the Power Plant but have uploaded three.

Second, how many images in general should I upload to RedBubble. I have 129 images uploaded now? Should I set a limit and delete some of the older, less viewed images as I upload new ones?

I guess that is really three questions.

Thanks in advance for your input and I must say, Lisa and I are really enjoying getting to know folks on RedBubble and this is a great learning experience for us.

Thank you to All!!

I think I have seen portfolios with 120 pages and I have seen some with only 3 – I think it depends on the artist. Chances are though, the more pages you have the less likely it will be that viewers will look at your back pages [setting up sets is a Godsend here].

Sets allow you to place your favorite of a series at the front, and all the other shots at the back, then link to them on your main page.

I guess that is a how to question for me then, how do you set up sets on RedBubble?? I haven’t figured that one out yet. I just thought it wasn’t possible.

Hi there….. I think Julie means categories, which could also mean sets. I can help you with this if you like. I see you are trying…. it’s really simple once you get the hang of it.

I will go back to your profile page, and see what you are trying to “set” up and I will show you how. Be right back….

    Okay…. here you go….

You will always start with this, when creating sets: http://www.redbubble.com/people/elitephotoart/a...

In front of that, you will put your “set” name in quotes “Flowers” then at the very end, after that slash, you put the keyword in (tag) of flower

When all is said and done, you get this below:

    Flowers

Here’s what it looks like, with spaces… so you can see:

    “Flowers”: http://www.redbubble.com/people/elitephotoart/a... flowers

So for your next set, which is HDR – do the same thing.

“HDR”: don’t forget the colon!!, sorry, I left that out above in the steps… then at the end, put hdr (which is your tag).

Any questions, please bubblemail me, and I will try to help.

Got it. Julie had me on the right track and I was leaving out the http:// in front of the www. I must have just not copied the whole thing. It is always easy once you figure it out. Thanks Julie and Kimberly!
