This is truly an EYE CATCHING piece…when I saw it…I knew I just had to stop and comment!

The man with the really SCARY face…like stuff being dragged up from out your WORST NIGHTMARES! Maybe, this one rings a particularly LOUD BELL with me because, I think, we are living in a rather ANGRY world, today; a world full of WAR, and, all sorts of evil HATRED’S!

For example, everytime I pick up a newspaper to go read here in the UK/or else, do switch on the TV to go watch the local London ITV/or else, international BBC news channel; it says somebody else had gotten stabbed/or, shot/or else, was killed/people being hijacked/countries ravaged by war/or, hunger/etc.

The worse thing is the realisation that none of this is, quite truly, anything ‘new’; if you go back in history…you find all of the same stuff was happening before exactly the same, as well.

Sometimes, it makes one even feel very deeply afraid to go outside and walk the streets; as if you accidentally happen to get into a sudden argument with someone; then, who knows, will they pull out either a knife/or, a gun; and, then, again, they might even kill you bare fisted/or, by stamping up and down and kicking you in both the body and head?!

Whilst, at the same time, I’m also very deeply aware that the media loves to focus on ‘sensational stuff’ which they are really good at blowing up totally out of proportion, sometimes; so that people end up thinking to themselves that this sort of extreme violence is going on absolutely everywhere!

When I think about it totally realistically; I’ve been living here in the UK for over 46 years; and, so far to date, I’ve never been either stabbed or shot at not even once; even though I do tend to go out fairly regularly; almost every day.

Of course, I’m not saying that ‘violence’ isn’t out there; it is…; but, you don’t necessarily tend to see and encounter it yourself at every corner you may turn for each and every single day; not unless you are reading/listening/watching the ‘news’.

The other thing I often wonder to myself is, why doesn’t the media place far more emphasis on people who help one another; which, I’m sure, is far more common than is the likelihood of violence ever happening. People who give to charity; or, volunteer to help inside of their local communities for FREE; the neighbour who help or supported the next neighbour; the stranger who saved/or, gave unselfishly to help another stranger. Many of these good deeds it seems to me do get totally ignored; even though they too tend to happen for each and every single day! ;-)

Congratulations on being featured in the “WTF are you wearing?!” group. All must bow and perform the mandatory groveling in this artwork’s presence!
