the effect is a cross between organic collage and digital montage. i use a lot of Asian and handmade papers when I print my photographs, then I scan them back into Photoshop, and then reprint that file onto another textural substrate, in this case a very thin washi that has been collaged with another washi (washi means paper in Japanese).
