Summer Smiles

A poem about Summer, the smiles it brings

Summer Smiles belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Everyday Women, Light In The Darkness, Live, Love, Dream: , Masterpieces: Literary Workshop, Mature Woman and WMG

Standing silently on a summers night

Neath the light of the shimmering moon

Sprinkling of stars shining away

Sending signals of splendor to be seen soon

Suddenly the sky split in two

Splicing itself together again

As a sensational comet seared cross the sky

Screeching and smothered in flame

Soaring and swerving seeking a path

Saving the earth in it’s groove

Sleeping soundly, stunned by the sight of

Sun Shining, summer stuff on the move
