Inspired by the literature of Edgar Allan Poe. The figure is mysterious; the costume it wears intended to hide the limbs and gender of the person or creature beneath. The character is meant to be a bringer of death via subtle means so I decided to incorporate elements of plague doctors, WWI gas masks plus vulture and crow feathers into the design.
