I know this woman and her baby! We just were in their village last week. Yes, she is beautiful. This is her livelyhood, posing for photos and selling artisan ware.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I have a deep appreciation of the human face … my first love was drawing … as a child, the human face and all it’s expressions fascinated me. I’d love to photograph people more but I’m very respectful of other people’s privacy. One day a month or so back, I decided to force myself to sit in a coffee shop and take some candids. I’m sure that your momentary reluctance to take people shots was for much different reasons … but it’s nice to know that even an extraordinary photographer such as yourself sometimes has moments of hesitation. You’ve captured a look of such joyful surprise!!! Delightful image!!!!!
