The Long Way Back Home
Pisaq 2007, Peru’ !
I visited the ruin of Pisaq, near Cusco just a few days ago.. it’s a long way up at an altitude of about 3600 mt, it takes about 3 hours if you are not use to it and that’s my case.. the ruin is divided in different sections, so it is like discovering things during the walk. I was on my way to the Temple of the Sun when I met Isidora with her son on their way back home… !
I love this picture because in my opinion show perfectly the idea I´ve always had of Peru’, his native people and the wonderful landscape !!!

Classic elbambino!!! Love the colors esp of the baby’s
wrap and Isidora’s blouse. Does she make this trek
everyday? Glad to hear you are still with us and creating
such gorgeous works of art. Hope you are well.

Lovely is not normally in my vocabulary but it has been my first reaction, on RedBubble a few times.
Like now.
The colours. The depth. The clarity. The contrast. The human beings in that vast scene.
