Spinifex Pigeon

A bird of the arid parts of central Australia, and, as its name suggests, usually associated with Spinifex grass, I found this Spinifex Pigeon (Geophaps plumifera)with a group of others in a magic little gorge, miles from the tourist traps near Mt Eaglebeak, Northern Territory, Australia.

Spinifex Pigeon belongs to the following groups:

NORTHERN TERRITORY (3 per day), Australian Wildlife, Birds and Creatures of Flight and The Birds Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters
