Brolga

Brolga

A friend of mine did a study on these guys (actually I think some of you may know him!) and I always thought that they would be great study species. I am sure he knows some interesting facts about them, all I know is that they are one of two cranes found in Australia and they are stately and dignified and threatened in southern Australia because wetlands are drained for farms (or the water taken to water farms).
