Overlooking Milan from the Duomo di Milano, Italyby Elana Bailey
This is on the roof of the Duomo in Milan, Italy, overlooking the city. I used a Pentax ESPIO 150SL 35mm film camera and Kodak colour film. This shot was featured in the ‘Sky High’ Group.
Milan Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Milano) is the cathedral church of Milan in Lombardy, northern Italy. Dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente (Saint Mary Nascent), it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi.
The Gothic cathedral took five centuries to complete and is the fourth-largest church in the world.
