The bench at Guide Falls in monochrome by

This bench was found at Guide Falls, West Ridgeley, Tasmania, Australia.

This shot won a Bronze Award in the 2010 Premier Better Photoshop Techniques Magazine Photography Competition (Australia). (One point off of a Silver Award). It was also 15th out of the top 50 in the Creative Section for this competition.

It also won a Bronze Award in the 4th Better Photography Magazine Photograph of the Year 2010. It was 40th out of the top 50 in the Creative Section.

I have processed this as a black and white image. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and 18-55mm lens.

This shot was featured in the ‘Benches’ Group.

The perfect composition for the lonley bench. The leaf litter adds to the implied isolation.
The sort of place i would sit and think about the Universe.
    Fantastic and a Fav
