These bursts of yellow were found at the lake at Alfred Nicholas Gardens, the Dandenongs, Victoria, Australia, in autumn. This is not an hdr shot. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, tripod and 18-55 mm lens.
This shot won a bronze award in The 3rd Better Photography Magazine Photograph of the Year for 2009 (Australia).
This image is in Photo Review Magazine’s Dec 09 – Feb 2010 “Reflections” Challenge, as well as on the website. It is also a runner up in the Australian Traveller Magazine’s Dec 09 – Jan 2010 edition.
This shot was featured in the ‘All Countries – Wetlands, Ponds, Lakes and Rivers’ Group, the ‘Glorious Spring and Fall Landscapes’ Group and the ‘Friends’ Group.
