Beams of light stream through the trees at Olinda Falls in portraitby Elana Bailey
These beams of light streaming through the trees were taken at Olinda Falls, Dandenong Ranges National Park, the Dandenongs, Victoria, Australia.
This shot was featured in the ‘All Parks’ Group.
This is a HDR shot with 3 shots merged together in Photomatix Pro. This was tone mapped and tone compressed. This was taken with a tripod and a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera. 900+ views.
Apart from the great light you have captured Elana, I like that your HDR work is balanced and not dominating, if you know what I mean. A really effective, crisp image!
Peter, I do know what you mean. I love HDR work but my personal preference is for it not to dominate the shot, too. Many thanks so very much for your kind words. Cheers Elana.
E!! you’re back! nice opening shot. I’m sure there’s a challenge out there called sunlight through trees going on at the moment…check it out.
John, I am back and it is so good to see you on here, too. You are probably right about that challenge…lol…Many thanks so very much for your kind words. Cheers E.
