Wow factor 9. What an excellent calendar. I hope you’ve posted it to the ‘Made in NZ’ group? I can recognise a few places, but wish they were all identified. Esp’ like August and December. Check out Anthony Gormley’s ‘Another place’ he’s a UK Artist who has placed a living exhibit on Crosby Beach, Liverpool. – a stones throw from where I was born. It consists of ‘Iron Men’ standing in the river estuary – December reminds me so much of this. you’ve got to look at this. Google away. Great Calander E.
Hey John, many thanks for the high praise. I don’t think that you can post calendars into groups. Down the bottom right hand corner of each page is the title of each pic, but because you can’t enlarge the calendars, we can’t read them on here. The August pic – rainbow – was taken in Queenstown. The December pic – Standing on Gillespies Beach – was taken on Gillespies Beach, nr Fox Glacier.
I didn’t realise Antony Gormley created the Angel of the North and I’d heard about the Another Place installation but didn’t realise that it was his. Once again you are so spot on with your artists, it is uncanny. It does remind you of that, and I had never even seen his installation on Crosby Beach either. Great place of the world to be born too. Many thanks so much, once again. Cheers E.
