This is fabulous E, it evokes a feeling of sinister mystique, isolation and quiet contemplation.

Wow, Elana, wonderful. I had a look at the larger view. At 1.3 seconds the foreground incoming wave has shape yet doesn’t detract and the 3 barely visible posts in the foreground have the start of that wonderful ‘smoke on water’ look when flowing water is captured around an inanimate object for longer exposure. So, that’s pretty cool for a start. And maybe an idea for the next one – a longer exposure but closer to the poles and avoiding the wave “impact”. Then the horizon caught my eye because an ocean shot like this you expect to see waves or at least an uneven horizon, But in this shot it is perfectly linear with a lot of similar texture between the sky and the water. Now that’s pretty cool, and surreal. The light is fantastic – just right at that speed – as is the composition. The only downer was the reduced clarity on the poles themselves. But hey – a great image! Love it.

Coincidently, that ‘smoke on water’ effect can be seen in an image just posted by Becca Cusworth. It shows the wonderful effect coming through in your image around those 3 lower poles.
