Sunlit Lavender

Lowering sun illuminates the lavender growing on a beautiful cottage picket fence while in the background it shows off the bell tower of a century-old historic church. Lavendar is widely cultivated on the Olympic Peninsula, where a Lavendar Festival is held in Sequim each year.The historical First Presbyterian Church was built in1873 at 1111 Franklin, Uptown, Port Townsend, on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington State, USA

The church shown here in the background has a uniqe victorian sanctuary and one of the oldest pipe organs on the west coast
