Oh Lord, Please Bring Me Back My Puss!

Six days ago my cat Albie went missing. I am heart broken on the inside, yet try not to think about it, try to imagine him coming back tomorrow as my other cat has, after being missing for seven days.
I have two Burmese cats; one boy and one girl. They are like my babies. The boy Albie has gone. He is a shy cat and he doesn’t visit the neighbours as my other one does.
I think that someone inspecting my Mum’s house (which is for sale) has returned to steal him.
I pray that he is okay and pray that he is not lost, hurt or hungry.
I have never had a cat who has so much love to give.
He used to cuddle me with his paws wrapped around my neck.
Love you Prince Albert.

I hope you get your cat back. It’s sad to lose a family member. Cat hugs are so warm and cuddly… when the claws don’t come out to stop them from sliding off! Good luck with finding your Prince.

Oh how dreadful. I hope he comes back to you. I used to have a chocolate brown burmese. Was in the family for 26 years, can you believe that? I remember one time he went missing for a week and came back a mess. I think he was hiding under the house the whole time.

Burmese are such loyal, loving cats. Have faith, I’m sure he’s alright and will come back to you soon.

Thanks guys. He’s like my baby. I suppose that’s what we get for investing so much feeling in them. But they really are part of our families, aren’t they? It’s totally worth the investment.

All my luck to you finding your lil’ cat. I hope she’s planning her return home after some lil’ ill-conceived runaway, it would be unimaginable to not see her again I presume. I know how much a pet can mean to s/o…especially when they are so small and innocent.

MSG TO CAT: “Prince Albert, wherever you are, return home, you’ve partied hard enough now and must retain the noble reputation!”

I lost a dearly loved little friend to a car, coming on for two years ago now and I still miss her a lot. I think its probably worse though if they disappear because you’re always wondering what happened to them. Here’s hoping yours comes back to you!

Albie could just be reacting to strangers around and picking up on the stress that selling a house always carries by running off. Give the Lord a bit of help, prayer is not enough. Ring every Vet within miles, ring the RSPCA, ring the animal shelters, ring the Council pounds. And go visit the RSPCA: with volunteer staff changing shifts, an animal can be brought in and the next person doesn’t know. You can go in and look at all the new cats. Maybe you’ve done all this but if not there is still time. It’s worth a few simple phone calls, often that’s all it takes. I hope he turns up okay.

Yes it would be inconceivable to never see him again. I guess I’m trying not to think about it guys.
Because he hasn’t met any apparent doom I still have hope and it’s still possible that he may return.
The funny thing is we have two other cats at the house and neither have been leaving the premises since he’s been gone, as if they know something I don’t.
I fear that he has been stolen. People are always commenting on his looks.
But the question I ask myself is would I be happier if I should find out he is fine but with another owner?

I guess it’s now nearly two weeks since your little dude went missing.

At least if someone has gone to the effort to pinch him you can be sure they will look after him (even if at the same time it would be nice to imagine them getting hit by a bus – not fatally, just a broken leg … or two).

Hopefully your other cats will help heal you through this ordeal.

Has he come home yet? Our cat turned up after three weeks of MIA, they are amazing creatures.

If someone has pinched Albie they are lower than a snakes butthole!
& the bus comment isn’t as harsh as it seems!

No he hasn’t. Very mysterious. I would just love to know he’s okay. There’s a photo of him titled Prince Albert (which is his real name) in my portfolio. Tell me that’s not a gorgeous puss? Beautiful and psychotic… I miss him terribly and I hope he’s happy somewhere. Though I’m sure he’s very angry at his captors, if he has been stolen. Thanks guys.
