I wanted to create the inner turmoil that someone is going through when everything seem’s to be going wrong in there life and the feeling of despair seems to be overwhelming them . This is the time to talk to a trusted and close friend .

Painted on card with diluted acrylic paint . Thought about it for a long time , – – but had to be painted fast with emotional feeling .

35’’ x 27’’ – acrylic on board .

  • Thank you so much Mary for putting this work in your feature . I know that you can see beyond the clear polished finnish on a photograph or a work done on a computer , which please dont get me wrong I do feel there is great merrit and impressive works come from them , and I do get get excited by some of things they are producing now . What I am saying is that you can see in a painting that has not a pollished finnished to it can still say something from within.

  • Thank you Alison for your interest in the attempted imotion I put into my fast painted ( Anguish ) I do like to put some meaning or inner feelings into some of my work’s . I have just been looking at your paintings and feel you also try to somthing similar , and manage it well. Ilooked at your painting ( Digital dancers ) and feel you had captued the moment so well, I attebped to leave my comment on it but it would not go on ? – oops.

In reply to your reply! Thank you for your kind words and also may I say that in truth, this piece looks like you have laboured over it for hours on end to come up with the perfect effect. Anguish most certainly lifts from the screen as I look at her expression and clearly others agreed with me! You are a rare and great talent sir!

  • Hi again Alison , well in reply to your reply to my reply to you ( ha ) . Thank you so much for your kind remarks . As you say this panting which I did fast with feeling seemed to work , and yet at times I have worked for hours or day’s on them but they somtimes loose the spontaneity and heart from the work.
