This combine took me a long time to make ( month’s ), I found the ships frayed mooring roap on the beach, which had kept a large boat safe and secure in harber, I felt I should do something with it.I wanted to carry this feeling into the work of a loving relating relationship it should feel safe and secure and with protection to and from each other as the mooring roap had been to the boat.
The plated part of the roap is – the joining of two.
people – the frayed ends covering each head is the love and protection from each other . My intention was to give the the feeling of love and contented safety with each other in there own harber.
The original combine is a 3 foot x 4 foot board covered in – painted background canvas – stainless steel – roap – aluminium – acylic paint – screws & bit’s.
Hi I hope you are finding something interesting to look at that makes you smile impresses or even give you something to think about . If so it will make me feel good about the work that I have done has been worthwhile . I do like producing art work its a big part of my life and I love it .
