1915 Octagonal Barn by ej29
It was moved from the Miller Farm in Rockingham, Virginia to The Frontier Culture Musuim. The lower level, which is what you see is where space was provided for the cattle and horse stables. The upper part, which I couldn’t get around to from where I was taking the photo, is for the hay and equipment. I thought it was a cool looking barn and so different from what we normally see.

Wow-wonderful, unusual barn! We have quite a few Dutch style and Amish barns here in Northern Ohio, also a little out of the ordinary. I had to fav this to hopefully add to my collection. Wonderful!!—Let me know what you find when you get more into the structure, please! I have found old collectors’ bottles, hardware, etc. that way—also some really great artifacts such as arrowheads and hatchets.
