Two baby Blue Jays huddling together in a tree next to our patio. I got this capture on June 6, and they I don’t they were able to fly. They were just sitting there, waiting for the parents to stop by and feed them. Shooting conditions weren’t the best with them high up in the tree, kind of dark, and branches with leaves surrounding them. But it was probably a good spot for them, to be secure. They are still around. I saw them last night, and now they look more like Blue Jays, with more color, and they move around between the trees. Their squeaking noises are revealing them. I’m glad they made it through the terrible hail storm we had last week.
