This fox snuck up on me, while I was taken pictures of something else. I had gotten a late start this morning, and didn’t think I would see any foxes that day. So, when I had my camera pointing towards a big beehive up in a tree, this fox walked up on the log. A big surprise for me when I lowered my camera, but I managed to get two good shots before he continued his morning walk.

Thank you, Jonathan! I just changed the title, don’t want to be a thief. Fox hunt could work, since I was out “hunting” foxes with my camera, and the fox probably out hunting for food.
This was like a dream for me, too. I couldn’t believe the pose I got, and the morning light came right on him.
Great capture!
Thank you, Mistur!

A beauty and sometimes those great shots comes unexpectedly a fine example here !
Thank you, Curtiss! I try to have the camera ready when I walk around like this, checking the change of the light while the sun is rising, and so on.
