who took my mojo, man?
You know the drill, you’re bored, un-inspired, you have your camera with you but it all looks the same? Somehow you come back from somewhere with only a few general snapshots and nothing really artistic or creative.
I’ve been in that funk for a while – lack of time, sleep, illness, work, rain, blah blah – it all adds up to take away the photo mojo.
Its not going to get an…
Away
I’m back in England for 10 days, so will be absent from here till I get back:-( hope everyone gets stuck in and creates lots of wonderful things for me to look at and be inspired by for when I get back :-)
pet peeves
There’s one thing in photography that is more important than all others. It can be broken from time to time, but only when it enhances the photo in some way.
That rule? horizons are horizontal.
To a similar extent, verticals (buildings, poles, etc) are also vertical.

‘Thats cool, did you do that in photoshop’ or ‘which photoshop action did you use for that’ etc
Photoshop is an excellent tool for lots of things, but no…
lame, I know
I’ve been busy and kinda forgot all about this account. Ah well, sorry to the faithful few of you who have read this!
the rains came the week – the first we’ve had in Perth for maybe 5 months – and boy did they come. Monsoon like downpours – but at least they actually arrived – my bore for the irrigation ran dry last week, so my poor garden would have started…
Busy
man, work has taken over this week – I have no time for anything – this journal entry included really. eek
hopefully I’ll get some time this weekend to take some photos
hope everyone is having fun this week :)
day one
well, not really, more like day three, but I’m still figuring this site out, so it feels like day one!
I’m sorting through my collection of pics and deciding which are my best photos – its quite a job – I have a fair few nice ones, but not so many that I want to put up here – anyway, I’ll finish that exercise in the next week or so and will upload them in due c…
