I bought my first Kodak Brownie when I was 9 yrs old and spent many years being the record keeeper for friends and family. I have owned an SLR since my early 20’s and been part of camera clubs on and off for the last 10 yrs or so. I took out Landscape Photographer of the year for my camera club in 1999 and most recently was one of 4 finalists in the Conservation Councils water conservation competition here in W.A. I was the most improved photograher for 2008 for NEPG and won best Mono print for 2008. Most recently I recieved a first place in the WAPF 2009 interclub competition.
My interest in photography was reignited 2 years ago when I bought my first DSLR and would at some stage like to make a living out of my passion.
No drug can replace the thrill and excitement of being in the right place at the right time and capturing something really special.
