Attention (noun).
1. the act or faculty of attending, esp. by directing the mind to an object.
2. a concentration of the mind on a single object.
3. a state of consciousness characterized by such concentration.
4. observant care; consideration.
5. notice or awareness.
6. acts of courtesy or ceremonious politeness indicating affection, as in courtship.
7. a military command.
Beginning from our childhood we listen parents, teachers, later our family members (like wives or husbands), other people, government… they all say: “Pay attention on this, pay attention on that.” Looks like they all know much better than us that object or situation on which we have to concentrate or direct our mind. They making us to do something we really don’t want, depriving us of our initiative. Many humans used to this and even don’t care or remember about their individual choice or privacy…
The cats give us an example how to behave. They never do anything they don’t want and in better case just show us some kind of ‘ceremonious politeness’ than real ‘attention’. Somebody says that ‘curiosity kills the cat’… may be, but what about attention… it probably gives her multiple lifes…
