Nepenthes - immature pitcher by

Immature pitcher of a Nepenthes plant, with an out of focus image of another leaf/pitcher forming a sinuous curve in the background. Monochrome macro photograph.
Nepenthes are carnivorous plants, trapping insects (and larger animals for the larger species!) in the pitchers.
