“The Caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence: at last the Caterpillar took the pipe out of its mouth, and addressed her in a languid, sleepy voice.
`Who are you?’ said the Caterpillar."
An illustration for the well-known story of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, where she meets Mister Caterpillar. Who persists in asking her: “Who are you?”
Done with oil pastel on cardboard, details added in with a normal pencil.

I am a former Illustration student who finished her Master degree and is now looking to take her love for art further. I hope to someday be able to do illustration as my profession and to make my living that way by becoming a children’s book illustrator. I love bright colours and cute images, because I don’t think there’s ever enough of it in this world!

Who am I? An admirer of this work. Belongs in an illustrated version of the story.
Love your take on the scene, and how you’ve left the cardboard showing through. And the colours. And the pencil detail. Everything again :)
