A Cold Wind Blew That Day by Ine Spee

This just started out as a quick sketch in my sketchbook to try and find a nice style to draw humans in (I’m still searching). I liked the sketch so much I uploaded it into Photoshop and coloured it and added in the texture.

Simple image, but I hope you still like it. =)

(Bit annoyed that RedBubble changes the colours a bit, but I can’t change it so it looks like the original, oh well!)

I am a former Illustration student who finished her Master degree and is now looking to take her love for art further. I hope to someday be able to do illustration as my profession and to make my living that way by becoming a children’s book illustrator. I love bright colours and cute images, because I don’t think there’s ever enough of it in this world!

oooh jajaja, ga er zeker mee verder.
Heerlijk die textuur en die kleurtjes

  • Yay merci! Ben wel nog altijd op zoek naar een stijl voor de personages, hmmm…
Maar het is vreemd, het zijn vaak dingen die je gewoon tussendoor doet die er nog het leukst uit zien. Bij mij toch. =P

wonderful, and a great style for people….I don’t find colours change when I upload but that the image just looks brighter…in general I always think my pics look great once on the site (perhaps you could make a post about your colour change experience in one of the forums)

  • Thank you!
And my images usually seem a bit desaturated and brighter. Apparently it’s something RedBubble does to make it look like how it would when it’s printed on paper. Bit weird, but oh well, not much I can do about it haha.
