Indian Elephant

I can’t help but fall in love with elephants whenever I see them. Their wrinkled skin gives them so much personality, it’s amazing.

Pencil drawing. Colours and textures added in Photoshop. Textures come from http://fantasystock.deviantart.com/.

I thought I’d already commented on this! I know exactly what you mean about elephants. I love them for the same reason. This really captured it. I love how you’ve added the hints of texture. Very well done.

Ine, not only can you spell but your art is tottally awesome. I’m an animal lover & love Elephants more than you could believe. I’ve been known to spend an entire zoo visit watching them. This is just perfect. :)

Ah yes, elephants are amazing, aren’t they? I just love their faces, and how the wrinkles give them so much character, so much expression. If I got the chance, I would watch them all day as well. =)
Thank you for your lovely comment; I’m glad you like it.

This is an unusual rendering, unique in style unlike most illustrations of one of my favorite animals, elephants. Your technique is great and how you capture the enchantment of nature and imaginative literature for children is exceptional. I look forward to seeing more of your portfolio. I am also a lover of nature, animals and video games.
