Baby Delivery

This is a drawing I made for a school assignment.

We were given a very short story, in which there is a small kingdom with a king in his castle and twelve couples in twelve houses. But since the king likes everything to be clean, everyone is constantly cleaning and thus they have no time for children.
Then one day, a white stork shows up with a baby, and everyone wants to take care of the boy. The king then decides that the baby will become the new prince. He’ll spend one hour in every house (at 7 am he’ll stay in house number 7, 8 am in house number 8, all the way to 6 pm in house number 6). And the night he’ll stay in the castle. =)

It’s a short story that will appear in a children’s magazine. If I’m lucky, my drawing might get published (I will find out next month).
Done with oil pastel crayons on normal paper.
